Terminal Commands (Cont.)
Command Description
SET JAVA HEAP
Set the amount of memory allocated for the Java pool. This is the current Java memory
heap size as measured in Megabytes.
Valid values = 5M - 35M
Recommended default = 32M
Note: This setting does not take effect until the next reboot.
SET ETHERNET MODE
<CMD>
This command sets the current Ethernet configuration settings - auto OR speed =
10 | 100, duplex = full | half.
Example:
set ethernet mode auto
set ethernet mode speed=100 duplex=full
Note: See GET ETHERNET MODE.
SET FTP PORT
Enables/Disables the NXB-KNX’s IP port listened to for FTP connections.
Note: The device must be rebooted to enable new settings.
Example:
>SET FTP PORT
FTP is enabled
Do you want to enable (e) or disable (d) FTP (enter e or d):
FTP enabled, reboot the NXB-KNX for the change to take affect.
SET HTTP PORT
Sets the NXB-KNX’s IP port listened to for HTTP connections.
Note: The device must be rebooted to enable new settings.
Example:
>SET HTTP PORT
Current HTTP port number = 80
Enter new HTTP port number (Usually 80) (0=disable HTTP):
Setting HTTP port number to
New HTTP port number set, reboot the NXB-KNX for the change to take
affect.
SET HTTPS PORT
Sets the NXB-KNX’s IP port listened to for HTTPS connections.
Note: The device must be rebooted to enable new settings.
Example:
>SET HTTPS PORT
Current HTTPS port number = 443
Enter new HTTPS port number (Usually 443) (0=disable HTTPS):
Once you enter a value and press the ENTER key, you get the following message:
Setting HTTPS port number to
New HTTPS port number set, reboot the NXB-KNX for the change to take
affect.
