States Menu
Contains options for setting the maximum active state on multi-state buttons, and tweening options:
Layout Menu
Contains options for layout/design control (send to front/back, alignment, spacing, etc):
Transfer Menu
Make Unmanaged
(Listbox)
This option switches a Managed Listbox to an Unmanaged Listbox (available only if a
Listbox button has been selected).
See the List Box Buttons section on page 195 for details.
Power Assign Opens the Power Assign dialog. Use the options in this dialog to automatically assign
function codes.
See the Using Power Assign section on page 304 for details.
Paste Controls Opens the Paste Control Options dialog, where you can control how the Edit > Paste
command works when pasting buttons.

Preview Click to show/hide the Button Preview window.
States Menu
Reverse States This option reverses the order of states selected in the State Manager window. The
selected state do no have to be contiguous.
Set As Display State This option sets the selected button state as the state to be displayed on a button push/
release. The Display State is treated just like the last state in the sequence. All states
beyond the Display State can only be displayed via send commands.
Note: All states beyond the designated Display State are displayed in the State Manager
window with hash marks across the labels, indicating that they will not be displayed on a
button push.
Tweeners Click to open the Tweeners sub-menu where you can select from several types of
tweeners to use (for animation purposes).
Layout Menu
Bring to Front Click to place the selected object(s) on the top layer of the page. The selected objects
appear to be in "front" of the other elements on the page.
Send to Back Click to place the selected object(s) on the bottom layer of the page. The selected objects
appear to be in "behind" the other elements on the page.
Shift Button Up Click to shift the selected objects(s) one layer up on the page. Depending on the degree
of layering being used on the page, this may not put the selected objects on the top layer.
Shift Button Down Click to shift the selected objects(s) one layer down on the page. Depending on the
degree of layering being used on the page, this may not put the selected objects on the
bottom layer.
Align Click to view the Align Options sub-menu, containing several types of object alignment
tools.
Center in Page Click to center the selected object(s) on the page.
Make Same Size Click to view the Make Same Size sub-menu, containing several sizing options.
Size to Image Click to automatically resize the button to fit the bitmap image.
Size For Video Click to open the Size for Video sub-menu, where you can select to size the selected but-
ton to be either a 4:3, 16:9, 1.85:1, or 2.35:1 aspect ratio. These selections automatically
apply the associated Video Cropping value to the states of the buttons.
Horizontal Spacing Click to view the Horizontal Spacing Options sub-menu, containing several spacing
options.
Vertical Spacing Click to view the Vertical Spacing Options sub-menu, containing several spacing options.
Size For Border Click to view the Size For Border Options sub-menu, containing several auto-sizing
options.
Alignment & Sizing (enabled only if two or more buttons are selected on a page). Click to open the Alignment
& Sizing dialog.
