SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

■ Before any measurement, check that the resistance to be tested isn’t live.

■ Check that the battery has a charge sufficient for the requirements of the measurement,

otherwise, recharge it.

■ To preserve the service life of the battery, take care not to exceed a charge time greater

than 14 hours for a completely discharged battery.

■ Before opening the case, check that the instrument is disconnected from the supply.

■ When changing the battery, reconnect the wires according to the polarity

(+ red and - black).

■ When reclosing the case, reconnect the linking cables connecting the supply board,

on the back of the case, to the upper board mounted on the chassis.

■ This instrument may be used on category II installations, for voltages not exceeding 30 V

in relation to the earth. Category II meets with the reliability and availability requirements

corresponding to temporary use on fixed installations (NF EN 61010-1 Ed. 95).

WARRANTY

Our guarantee is applicable for twelve months after the date on which the equipment is made

available (extract from our General Conditions of Sale, available on request).
